Adding Exercise To Your Daily Life
We all know that we need to get more exercise.
These days, it can be hard to get yourself to the gym. With the busy
lifestyles we live, we do not often have time to exercise, or do we. We
will give you some tips on adding a little exercise to your daily life.
Drive Less, Walk More
How many trips do you take just around the
corner. Instead of hopping in your car and driving, take a walk. It
probably will not take much more time to walk since you won't have to deal
with stop lights and finding a parking space.
Park Farther Away
When you do have to take your car, park
farther away. How much time do we waste at the grocery store or mall
circling around for the closer spot. Just park farther out and get a
little exercise. Your vehicle will be less likely to get door dinged too.
Take The Stairs
Skip the escalator or the elevator and take
the stairs. You'd spend longer waiting for the elevator than climbing a
single set of stairs anyway.
Take A Walk
Getting exercise doesn't have to be a
grueling, painful and sweaty event. Take a casual stroll or walk through
the park. You'd be surprised how many extra calories you can burn on an
easy walk.
Play Outdoor Games
Having friends or family over. Instead of
sitting down to a movie or a board game, play a game outside. A game of
volleyball, soccer, badminton or even horseshoes will burn more calories
than sitting down.
Take Up A Sport
Combine your relaxation time with your
exercise time. If you enjoy exercise you will do it more so take up a
sport like biking, hiking or golf. If you take up golf, skip the cart and
walk the course.
